At the time of this project I am 24 years of age. The photographs on this website span a period of four years or so and chronicle my continual growth as an amateur photographer. What you will see in the forthcoming pages are dear friends of mine and places to which I have traveled to. Each photograph is nothing more than a single moment in time captured, nothing of exaggerated excitement, but something that I hope others will find beauty in, as I have.
The title of this page is “Lo Hago Mirando.” It is a Spanish term coined by the Spanish photographer Carlos Arroyo Galaxia that permeated with me. It is a somewhat cheeky response to the question, “How do you do it?” Much of it’s allure is lost in translation, but roughly equates to “I make it with my sight.”
